Scott Miller
Send EmailScott Miller has served as the Association Missions Strategist for the Faulkner Baptist Association (FBA) since 2017.
He was saved at 13, and called to ministry at 20, while active in the BSU (now BCM) at UCA. Following graduation from UCA... then getting a Master's Degree at SWBTS, Scott pastored 5 churches in Arkansas over a 33 year period. He has a pastor's heart, and has used that to help the pastors and churches of the FBA.
The churches of the FBA feel the responsibility of reaching Faulkner County and beyond for Christ! Scott's goal is to help the FBA churches do this through the "3 E's": 1) Encouraging the pastors and churches of the FBA; 2) Educating the pastors and churches of the FBA through practical workshops and information concerning convention, culture, and context; and 3) Enlisting FBA pastors and churches to do ministry and missions together.
Scott and his wife, Tana, have been married since 1987. They have 3 grown children (all involved in their churches), 3 "in-law kids", and 6 grandchildren.Scott enjoys sports, movies, sorting through his comic book collection, and time with family.
Gene joined the Faulkner Baptist Association staff in May 2014 as Camp Manager of Cold Springs Retreat. Gene and his wife Lori have been married for 32 years. They have 5 grown sons and 5 grandchildren. They raised their family in the Conway area since 1999. They have been an active part of ONECHURCH of Conway since the church started, where Gene serves as an elder. Gene & Lori have a heart for healthy marriages and spend a lot of time working with couples doing marriage checkups and pre-martial counseling.
Gene serves as president of the Ozark Section of the Christian Camp & Conference Association. He also serves on the board of Beaverfork Fire Department. For the past 13 years Gene has served as a high school football referee.
Gene & Lori love doing camp and working with all groups that come thru the camp year-round. One of the biggest joys for them is getting to work and pour into the summer staffers who volunteer for the FBA camps in the summer.
Amy joined the Faulkner Baptist Association staff in September 2013 and served as the Administrative Assistant, Treasurer & Clerk until June 2018.
She returned in July 2022 as the Financial Manager/Treasurer & Clerk. Amy and her husband Brandon have been married for 17 years and have 4 children. They live in Vilonia and are members of Vilonia First Baptist Church.
